We're Still Here, Don't Worry!

      We are still here. Phew.

    I was in a soccer tournament, and got fourth place!.

    We've been quite busy lately. Wednesday was the last day of school, a couple weeks ago, I bridged from Brownies, to Junior for GS, and many more things!

On Monday, May 23rd, I bridged to Junior GS!

Two Saturdays ago, I had a piano recital

We went to our family friends house, they rented some stuff from Air Fex, a trampoline park that has rock walls

Two Wednesdays ago, the last day of school!

The Sunday after the last day of school, I had a track meet. I did every advent that I did with my good friend, Gabby (we ony have Long Jump pictured, but I did Javelin and a 4x100 relay as well).

I don't know when, but sometime I made Lilac Jelly with my mom!

A looooooooooooooong time ago, (18 days until the last day of school), I made a count down to the last day of school!

One or two weeks ago, me and mom walked down to the river. I was rockn' on the wobbly dock!

***That was a joke because the wobbly dock rocks***

Next Saturday, we're goin to Frisco, Colorado!

Woah! This Is Gonna Be A Long One...

WARNING(!!!!): This post is gonna be the longest yet, so if you don't want to read it all, skip this one!!! 

WOW!!!!! It's been SOOOOOO long!! Since Feb, witch was two months ago!! Well, here's the basics:         Early (maybe mid???) April, I made Mrs. Tucker's bars all by myself. On April 5, I had a Pizazz concert. Pizazz is basically elementary show choir. I was in the 3rd grade, next year I'll be in the 4th and 5th grade one!! I had a solo!! On Saturday, I went to Beloit, Wisconsin to watch my cousin play softball. On Sunday, I went horseback riding!

 We went over to a family friends house, and Cora made her this blanket:

Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin

*WARNING(!!!): if you just want pics, scroll to the end!* At the beginning of Feb., We went to WD. Wisconsin, and we had a blast!

We stayed at Glacier Cannon Lodge in the Wilderness Resort with family friends, the Fettkether's, Preston's, and the Balster's . And, for those who like Great Wolf Lodge, it's WAY better than that (In my opinion :] ). It has THREE indoor waterparks and lot's of outdoor ones too.   

When we first got there, we headed to our room and then got changed into our swim suits. Then, we headed down to Klondike Cavern. We went on lot's of slides there, and, I tried the MOST THRILLING water slide IN THE WHOLE PLACE(according to me), The Hurricane and I L.O.V.E.D it! That night, we went to Moosejaw, and, like always, had a blast(And yummy food and drinks)! Most of the other days were the same, waterparks, gathering at people's hotel rooms to eat, play, etc. On the last night, we(the kids and some moms) watched Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Enconto. The kids also did a scavenger hunt.

KC, KC, What a Fun Time!

 On January 14th-17th we were in KC, ya know, where the Chiefs are, and where the National WW1 Museum are at? We went there to see Wicked, and to be honest, she was never evil, she just called herself that and everyone else thought she was. We also went to the National WW1 Museum, Ice Skating, and a aquarium called Sea Life. 

As soon as we got there, we went straight for the Ice Skating rink.

Then, we checked in the hotel, and I started making Cora an anklet!

The next day, there was a lot of snow, so we were going back and fourth,

but, we decided to go to Sea Life anyway.

Even in cold weather, there fountains kept a move on!

Before Wicked, we went to the National WW1 Museum.

Then, we headed for Wicked(In the background you see a map of Oz).

When we got home I finished my All About Me poster for my class(Recognize any of these pics? They might've been on my mom's blog- The Petersen's Brave New World!).

Merry Christmas!!

 I'd say that the Petersen's had a very neat Christmas. On Christmas Eve we went over to G&G's and made our yummy Candy-Can Cinnamon Roll.

When C&E were at Show Choir, I found our yearly ticket to The Twinkle Light Express. Always an awesome time!

On Christmas Eve, we went to Church (St. Paul's, to be exact)

  This has nothing to do with Christmas, but I was looking through old photo's and I came across this one and it made me remember when I was on the School Website and a Bill Board!

On Christmas morning we had our Candy-Cane!

 

 And... all of my presents (Santa got me a archery set and Cora got me the shirt I'm wearing)

Happy New Year 2022!

 On New Years Eve, we went to the Neilly's to celebrate. I stayed the night, but the rest of my family went home. 

We played a ton of games like, Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza, where you say it in that order and put down cards and let's say I said "Taco" and the card I put down was a taco, then everyone would slap on top of that card and whoever's hand is on top has to grab ALL the cards. We also played Gestures where it's basically like Charades although with teams and time limit. Another game was  I Decent, and what you do is, say the problem was... "Hotdogs are sandwiches" then you would either put down a I agree or a I disagree card and then you make your points for either one or two min. then when you vote you can change your card and you either set down a three, two, or a one point OR if you think that the thing you vote for is going to have less votes then you could play a I Decent card that gives you SIX points ONLY if it is in the minority if it's not, then it counts as a one card

For Desert me and mom made Chocolate pie and mom made Apple.

November And Early December Update!!!

 Yay!!! I'm finally doing this! Literally half and hour until I go over to my friend Gabby's! This is all going to be out of order... It's been sooooo loooooong!

Either in late October or Early November, we went to see the Hawkeye's play women Volleyball! I got a pic with Herkey!

Me and my GS troop went to the Iowa National Guard place by the airport. My friend, Emily's mom (Emily is in the troop) is part of that program, showed us around. My mom couldn't make it so Gabby's mom took me (Her mom is also the troop leader). I held a real laser gun!

The Saturday after Thanksgiving, us and some family got together and did something we like to call 'Friendsgiving'.

Last Sunday we went to another GS meeting! We did like this thing where you roll dice and you unwrap this thing where you get prizes until the other person rolls a double, like 1,1 or 2,2. We also had to wrap someone up and make them look like a snowman- my group didn't really get it...

A couple weeks ago, me and my friend Jane did Kettle Bell ringing!

Also, we had to go to the Amana's!

Yesterday, we went to a Christmas party! Me and Evaline were Groovn'!
