MY LIFE

 Hi, my name is Willa!

I was born at 7:56 a.m on Monday, August 27th 2012. I was 8 lbs and. . . nether me nor my mom, Merry, knows how tall I was. Right now I am eight and a half!

Tuesday, after school I did not feel good, and when I took my temperature  it was 99.2! It kept on going up until it was 101! The next day, my mom sent an e-mail to the school saying that I wouldn't be there that day. I had to get a doctor appointment at 11 o clock. The first thing they did, was, talk to my dad about stuff that I can't remember. And then I got a COVID  test. It only tickled my nose. Then another doctor came in the room. He was a boy this time and asked me questions like, "When did you start to feel sick" or, "How long how have you been feeling sick?" And then, he did stuff that you do during a normal doctor appointment. And then another doctor came in asked questions and did the same as the other doctor did, then she told us that I tested negative! I am so very sad that I don't have any pictures of that very, very, happy day.

Yesterday was a very, very, fun day for all five of us, Mom, Dad, Cora, Evaline, and, of course, ME!!!! Well to start off, I had a sleepover at my friend Gabby's house, and at ten yesterday morning, I came home. At three that day, we went to The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon it had a  lot of their stories but, guss what, they skipped Sleeping beauty (how dare they)! But, thankfully it was one of the funniest things I've ever seen in my entire life. And then we met up at The Gold Finch Cafe with my papa Pete.

Today we are just reading, playing barbies, and reading. How was your weekend?

  2. I was very interested (and a little worried) to read the account of your feeling "under the weather" and about your trip to the doctor. I have wondered for some time what it is like to be given a Covid test, including all the questions different medical people ask. Your posting helped me understand your experience and the process, in general. (And I was REALLY glad to learn that your test results were negative!)
