December

     I am ashamed to say that I never posted un December, but it's true. We were so busy that I just didn't have the time to post.

    In early December we went to the Amana's. Like always, we had to stop at the Christmas Tree Showing!

On December 9th me and two other friends went to see Alissabeth Von Presley's Christmas concert. It was SO GOOD! 

Cora and Evaline both have their learners permit and school permit, so on the 21st, they got a car!

On the 23rd we went  on our annual Tinkle Light Express, where we drive around looking at all the lights in our city.

On Christmas Eve we went over to my grandparents house on my moms side. There we ate dinner, opened presents, and baked the candy canes

On Christmas Day we opened presents bright and early, 7:00. One of the presents was to all three of us and it was tickets to see the play Chicago!

The rest of the day was pretty low-key. We made a ton of dips and we had dips for lunch while we played Ticket to Ride. My grandpa stopped by and he delivered his presents to us. I got a desk from him!

The day after Christmas, our family, my cousins, and my uncle and his girlfriends family went to Spare Time, this fun activity place. We played in the arcade, went bowling for an hour, and played Laser Tag.

Towards the end of break, I worked on my Poster Board for Module U.N. (Module United Nations), a P.A.C.T. that I'm doing. I'm studying Spain, so my poster board is information about Spain. 

 

November Update

     So far, November has been our most low-key month so far. Besides our occasional Show Choir practice and my mom BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo) again, we haven't been busy.

    I had my last soccer game the first weekend of November. That same day, we had my cousins stay the night. Cora and Evaline had their 15th birthday on the 12th. We celebrated Thanksgiving with my family and it was super fun.

On Black Friday, instead of going shopping, we decorated for Christmas! If we had it my way, we would've decorated on Nov. 1st, but whatever.

Halloween

     As Halloween was almost a month ago, let's blog about it!

At school, we have a Halloween Parade and Party

For Halloween, I went as Enid, from Wednesday. Trick-or-Treating was COLD, so I couldn't even wear the costume I had planned. I wore it to the parade at school though.

We hosted a Halloween Party for our Family Friends, and for the party, I was an angel

We didn't carve pumpkins this year, but our pumpkins still looked good. I chose a yellow one with warts and a baby pumpkin.

Taylor Swift Era's Movie!

     On the 23rd of October (same day as the Pumkin Patch, I know), we went to the Era's Tour movie! It was SO GOOD and is my favorite movie. I am SO EXCITED for it to come on Netflix. I got all decked out, outfit, makeup, everything, even bracelets (I traded four, but there wasn't as many people trading). I We went with some friends, and we went down to the front and sang and danced, overall, it was a great experience. We didn't take any pictures during the actual movie, but we wanted to just enjoy it ourselves without pictures or videos. If you can't tell by now, I am a HUGE swiftie.

    We went with our friends, and their daughter is the same age as me, just way taller. Like a foot taller (I'm super short for my age and she is tall for our age).

At the theater, there was a photo booth!

We all took photos there. Our Era's: Cora was Folklore, Evaline was Evermore, My Family friend (the mom) was Red, and I was Lover. My mom and my family friend (the daughter) didn't go as specific Era's.

    And it was SO FUN!! We went down to the front two rows of the theater, because no one was sitting there, and we sang and danced. I traded four bracelets, but not many were trading, but I know that in other theaters were trading.

Kroul Farm Pumpkin Patch

    A lot of fun stuff has happened in late October, including a Pumpkin Patch visit! We went to the Pumpkin Patch that we always go to, Kroul Farm. We went there with our family friends, whom we always go with. It was a super nice day out, but, as it was fall in Iowa, it had to be expected.

The wheelbarrows were big enough that I could fit in it!

There was a sign that said LOVE filled with hay, wheels, corn, and pumpkins!

There were hay barrels that had the most popular collages in Iowa (UNI, Iowa State Cyclones, and University of Iowa, Hawkeyes). I am personally a Iowa State fan.

 We went to go pick out pumpkins, and I chose a really pretty shade of yellow one with bumps.

 And, of course, we had to get hanged.

Fall Update

     It's been almost a month since my last update, and a lot has happened! 

In early September, my Girl Scout Troop went to Twin Pines Mini Golf, and it was so fun! I got a couple hole-in-two's and one hole-in-one. At the end there was a "contest" where everyone started at once and whoever got their ball in the hole first one. I got second place!

Around the time (I don't remember if it was before or after), my sister took a friend, and we went to TJ Maxx, Old Navy, Kohls, Starbucks, and Barns and Nobile's.

Late September, my sisters went to Washinton's homecoming (most of their friends go there), and Jefferson's homecoming. They took two of their closest friends, as each person was only allowed to take one person from a different school.

In early October, us and our family friends that we go to Wisconsin Dells with every year went to Hibachi! It was so fun!

On Friday, Cora and Evaline went to a football game and hour and a half away in Davenport. J-Hawks won, 13-3 (I think). It was pouring rain, and the game still went on. While they were preforming, my parents and I ate at Penera. 

Yesterday, we went to Need Pizza and then Clue at TCR. I took my friend Charlie and Cora and Evaline took two of their friends.

Today, we had our Flu shots, went to the library, and then went to Starbucks! I've been begging my mom to go for forever, and she finally gave in. I got the Pumpkin Spice Chai Latte, and it may as well be my favorite drink there so far. 

    As I said above, we had our Flu shots! most of the time they hurt, but today they didn't. My arm also isn't that sore! At the library, I got Gallowgate, it was in the New Fiction, as *Suprise* it was released this year! It's a scary book from the cover, but it looks really good.

    Later today when Cora is done with her homework, we are going to watch Hocus Pocus! I've also wanted to do that for a long time.
